My wife, Yorkie puppy Brinsley and I traveled 950
miles round trip from Charleston, SC to the Chesapeake Bay area
to visit friends. We drove our 2002 Mercedes Sports Wagon which
had been averaging 22 mpg on the road on high test before we
started using MPG CAPs.
Here are our results using mid test: average
cost per gallon mid test: $3.65, high test $3.79. Average mpg
27.9 for improvement of 5.9 mpg.
Fuel cost w/o MPG CAPS: $163.65
Fuel cost using MPG CAPS: $124.28
Net savings*: $39.36 - $7
