I entered "internet marketing" into the Google search engine and found there were 4,380,000 entries. Number 2 on the list was Dr. Ralph E. Wilson's site. So, my #1 recommendation for your start to better understanding of internet marketing is that you read the reviews of and selected contents of Dr. Wilson's great book Planning Your Internet Marketing Strategy. Because he is one of the leading authorities on internet marketing, commerce and e-business in general,  I also recommend that you subscribe to his Web Commerce Today newsletter (and you'll also get some great bonuses). 

In his book Mining Gold on the Internet, attorney turned internet entrepreneur Shawn Casey gives a comprehensive overview of what is required to be a successful internet marketing professional. Accompanying his book are some great video presentations which I highly recommend. The book itself contains a wealth of information. He covers in detail some strategies of how to partner with others in selling your own products. 

The foundation of success internet marketing is your website. Beyond mastering the details of running an online business, you need make sure your website will sell your products/services from the very beginning. Your jump-start to doing that is to download a free trial version of Dr.(MD) Ken Evoy's acclaimed book on how to sell on the Internet. It's the #1 guidebook for internet marketing and running a web business.

Another rich source on internet marketing is Corey Rudl's free seven-day course. Corey may be the most successful online business marketing professional in the world today. After his taking his course you may wish to read his excellent e-book (see the "Your Four Steps" tab for an overview). 

A key element to successful internet market is your website. Ken Evoy's free courses Affiliates Masters and Service Sellers Masters present a proven approach to long-term success at internet market -- developing targeted web site traffic through content. learned about the Internet.  I have taken both the courses and assure you they are a valuable investment in learning the specifics of success internet marketing.

Some other resources include "The Lazy Man's Guide to Online Business." by Jim and Dallas Edwards. Free information on the details of developing an effective website are in Ken Evoy's free courses Affiliates Masters and Service Sellers Masters. I have taken them both and can assure you that he is right on the money based on everything I have learned about the Internet.
